Yes, when done by a trained professional. We’re always gentle and adapt our approach based on what your body needs. We never push through pain.
Absolutely. Stress can tighten the muscles and restrict movement, and posture affects how your spine and joints carry load all day long. These things add up—but the good news is, they can also be improved.
Chiropractors and physiotherapists both help with musculoskeletal pain, but they focus on different methods. Chiropractic care specializes in spinal adjustments and joint mechanics, helping restore proper nerve function and movement. Physiotherapy emphasizes rehabilitation through manual therapy, exercise, and movement re-education.

They’re most effective when combined. Chiropractic restores joint function, while physiotherapy and functional movement help you build strength, coordination, and body awareness. At Roots, we focus on giving you tools for lasting change—not just quick fixes.
