At Roots Health Clinic in Prague, we take a personalized, whole-body approach to care. Every person’s situation is unique—so we tailor each plan based on your needs, goals, and current condition. We combine hands-on care with education and practical tools related to movement, breathing, nutrition, and lifestyle habits.

Our aim is to give you the confidence and knowledge to take charge of your own health—improving not just pain, but also sleep, energy, focus, digestion, posture, physical performance, and overall well-being. The Roots approach supports long-term health by building strong foundations and teaching you how to maintain them.

Marcin Dochnal

marcin dochnal

Born in Canada to Polish parents, Marcin first discovered chiropractic at age sixteen after a sports injury—and it changed the course of his life. He went on to study in the UK and work in multidisciplinary clinics across Cambridge, regularly collaborating with local hospitals and supporting international sporting events as a chiropractor.

 

Now based in Prague, Marcin is the founder of Roots Health Clinic, where he supports patients of all backgrounds—from athletes to office workers—in restoring movement and long-term health through chiropractic care.

 

Outside the clinic, Marcin lives what he teaches. He’s passionate about staying active, eating well, and spending quality time outdoors with friends and family.

Kamila considers herself a lifelong student—not only of physiotherapy and human health, but of life itself and how to find the greatest possible ease and balance within it.

She helps clients connect more deeply with their bodies and discover paths to long-term and sustainable relief through personal experience. She teaches mindful movement and guides clients toward functional principles they can apply in everyday situations or sports. She replaces dysfunctional habits with healthier ones that strengthen not only the body, but also the mind and spirit.

In her therapy, she combines individually chosen manual techniques with a holistic psychosomatic approach. When working with women, she focuses on hormonal balance and a healthy menstrual cycle, fertility support, pregnancy and birth preparation, as well as postpartum care. Thanks to her professional experience as an rower athlete, she now works for the National Women´s rowing team as their physiotherapist.

Michal Jonáš

michal jonáš

Originally from the Moravian-Silesian region, Michal grew up playing professional ice hockey, which sparked his lifelong interest in physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation. After graduating with a degree in physiotherapy and completing internships across Czech hospitals, he joined the Czech national basketball team as a physiotherapist.

Now based at Roots Health Clinic in Prague, Michal works with patients of all ages to treat musculoskeletal conditions—whether it’s neck and shoulder pain, lower back issues, sciatica, or disc herniations. His sessions combine manual therapy and functional exercise education to restore movement and reduce pain. Michal is passionate about helping people get back to the things they love, without being limited by injury or chronic discomfort.

ema dochnal

Ema se narodila a vyrostla v Praze. Po pár letech působení v oblasti architektury se rozhodla naplno věnovat své vášni pro výživu, holistický přístup ke zdraví a funkční pohyb. Celostní pojetí řešení vlastních zdravotních problémů ji přesvědčilo, že tato cesta je jedinou možností k dosažení opravdového zdraví, svobody a zodpovědnosti za vlastní život i fyzickou a duševní pohodu.

V Roots pracuje s klienty na dosažení jejich cílů v oblasti životního stylu a zdraví především budováním udržitelných návyků a snahou porozumět jak naše těla fungují. 

Ema je maminkou tří dětí. Radost jí dělá čas strávený s rodinou, pečení chleba, zahrada, příroda a nekonečné učení se jak nově nabytými informacemi tak i odžitými zkušenostmi.
