Insurance & reimbursement
At Roots Health Clinic, we operate as a private healthcare clinic. Czech national public health insurance does not cover our services. We are therefore unable to bill Czech insurance companies directly.
However, many of our international and expat patients successfully claim reimbursement through their international private health insurance, depending on their policy terms.
International insurance providers
Patients at Roots Health Clinic have commonly used the following international insurers to claim reimbursement for chiropractic and physiotherapy services. Coverage always depends on your individual plan, benefits, and limits.
In some cases, private health insurance plans offered by employers in the Czech Republic may also provide partial coverage for services such as chiropractic care, physiotherapy, nutrition, massage, or exercise-based care, depending on the provider and plan.

Important information about coverage
Insurance coverage varies significantly between policies. Depending on your insurer and plan, you may need:

Pre-authorisation before treatment

To stay within annual or per-visit limits
We recommend contacting your insurer directly before your appointment to confirm eligibility and reimbursement conditions.
Invoices and documentation
We are happy to provide:

A detailed invoice

Supporting medical documentation or treatment notes
These documents can be submitted directly to your insurer for reimbursement, if your policy allows.
Cancellation policy
Whilst we understand that life’s events are sometimes beyond our control, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours and no-shows will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the appointment price.
